Abstract:
To provide a piezoelectric oscillator capable of making low in height and small in size and maintaining the air-tightness of a container region of a piezoelectric resonator high.
In the piezoelectric oscillator wherein a support substrate 1 and an oscillation IC 2 are joined in a way of forming a sealing space 7 between the both and the piezoelectric vibrator 3 electrically connected to the oscillation IC 2 is contained in the sealing space, the sealing space 7 is hermetically sealed by joining the support substrate 1 and the oscillation IC 2 by an annular sealing member 4 made of a resin.
