To provide a resin composition for optical materials excellent in transparency, curability and heat resistance, a resin film for optical materials using the resin composition for optical material, and also to provide an optical waveguide using these and excellent in transparency, reliability, and heat resistance.
The resin composition for optical materials comprises: (A) an acrylic polymer and/or a methacrylic polymer having a repeating unit having an ethylenically unsaturated group bonded through an amide bond in a side chain and also having a specific (meth)acrylic group as a repeating unit; (B) a polymerizable compound; and (C) a polymerization initiator. The resin film for optical materials using the resin composition for optical materials and the optical waveguide using these are also provided.
