To provide a method for recovering Sb and Bi from neutralized slag after an intermediate product including Sb, Bi, Cu and As is water-washed so as to lower the grade of Cu in the intermediate product to ≤1.2 mass%.
The method for recovering Sb and Bi is characterized in that: an intermediate product including Sb, Bi, Cu and As is cleaned using an acidic solution containing sulfuric acid, and is water-washed, so as to produce an intermediate product with a Cu grade of ≤1.2 mass%, and this is mixed with a sodium carbonate and a reducing agent; the mixture is melted and reduced; the obtained reduced metal is subjected to soda treatment at 620 to 680°C, so as to remove Al; thereafter, an oxygen-containing gas is blown at 620 to 680°C; Sb is oxidatively volatilized and is recovered as antimony oxide, and sulfur is added to the Bi-Cu metal with a Cu grade of ≤5 mass% in a melted state left after the volatilization of Sb, so as to remove Cu to obtain a crude Bi metal.
