To support the execution of an objective and effective audit with respect to the order content of a project and to prevent an illegal order.

An audit system 1 comprises: a step (1) for receiving project order information through a network; a step (2) for determining necessity/unnecessity of an audit based on the received order information prior to the order of the project; a step (3), when the necessity of an audit is determined, selecting an auditor taking charge of the audit of the project out of a plurality of auditor candidates by retrieving an auditor candidate database in which a plurality of auditor candidates are registered; a step (4) for transmitting audit information necessary for inspecting the project to an auditor's terminal through the network; a step (5) for receiving the registration of an audit result from the auditor's terminal through the network; and a step (6) for permitting the order based on an order request on the basis of the registration of the audit result indicating passing of the audit.
