To provide a Kagamimochi (rice cake) package which prevents excessive packaging to the utmost by suppressing the use of a packaging material and is properly packaged by a machine and is not deformed even when a deoxidizer is put in.

The Kagamimochi package comprises: a container body 1 comprising a sheet forming article which is formed into a laminated Kagamimochi shape with an opened bottom; one or a plurality of rice cakes 2 filled into the container body 1; and a lid material 4 which seals and closes the bottom opening of the container body 1. The deoxidizer 3 together with one or the plurality of the rice cakes 2 is put in the container body 1 and further the inside of the container body 1 is substituted for nitrogen. The excessive packaging is prevented and dusts are decreased so that the Kagamimochi package becomes friendly with environment. Since the deoxidizer absorbs oxygen remained in the container body, the generation of mold is prevented. The amount of the oxygen remained in the container body is slight, so that the amount of gas after absorbing the oxygen is not reduced so much, and the container body is not deformed thereby.
