Abstract:
A vertical encapsulation apparatus and a method for fabricating an OLED using the same are provided to perform precise patterning operation by preventing the bending of a substrate. An encapsulation apparatus(300) includes an encapsulation substrate stage(310) and a lower substrate stage(330). An encapsulation substrate(260) is seated on and fixed to the encapsulation substrate stage. A lower substrate(320) is absorptively fixed to the lower substrate stage. A horizontal shaft(332) having a predetermined length is equipped on the center of one surface of the lower substrate stage. A pillow ball bearing(334) fits in one side of the horizontal shaft. A cylindrical bearing housing(336) is vertically equipped so as to cover an outside of the pillow ball bearing. The lower substrate stage can move to be inclined to a fixation bracket(322) by a sliding operation of the pillow ball bearing of the horizontal shaft, whereby the lower substrate stage can be accurately adjusted with being in close contact with the encapsulation substrate stage.
