To provide an image forming device capable of printing surely accumulated documents suitable for a process cartridge at the minimum operation of a user, when replacing the process cartridge.
This image forming device provided with a job kind determining means for determining a kind of job, a cartridge identification means for identifying the MICR printing process cartridge from the usual printing process cartridge, and a job accumulating means for accumulating the jobs without executing a printing operation, when the kind of the mounted process cartridge is not matched with the kind of the determined process cartridge, has a cartridge replacement detecting means for detecting replacement of the process cartridge, a job searching means for searching the job matched with the kind of process cartridge concerned in the replacement detected by the cartridge replacement detecting means, from the plurality of accumulated jobs, and an accumulated job print executing means for printing the job searched by the job searching means, using the replacement of the process cartridge as a trigger.
