Abstract:
To provide an adjusting mechanism for a footrest angle which can easily adjust the angle of the footrest so that any user of a wheelchair having whichever symptom can stably place his feet on the footrest.
Clamps 24 which constitute the angle adjusting mechanism 100 of a conventional footrest 16 performs the fixation and the angle adjustment of the footrest by pinching a lower frame 19a and a footrest frame 16a from both sides by two clamps 24 which face each other. By doubly dividing the clamp on one side into 24b and 24c, the adjusting angle of the footrest can greatly be widened.
