Abstract:
This particle detector is provided with a frame which includes: a lid (111) having an inlet port (111a); and a second member (112) having an exhaust port facing the inlet port (111a) and forming a box shape when combined with the first member (111). This particle detector is also provided with an electrical discharge unit which charges particles in the air, and a collecting unit which adheres particles charged by the electrical discharge unit to a collecting substrate (170) by electrostatic force and collects the same. This particle detector is further provided with an irradiation unit (130) for irradiating the particles adhered to the collecting substrate (170) with an excitation light, a fluorescence detection unit (160) for detecting fluorescence emitted from the particles irradiated with the excitation light, and a heating unit for heating the particles adhered to the collecting substrate (170). The electrical discharge unit, the irradiation unit (130) and the fluorescence detection unit (160) are mounted on the first member (111). The collecting unit and the heating unit are mounted on the second member (112). The first member (111) and the second member (112) can be detachably combined.
