To provide a rainwater storage tank which enables the deposit accumulated at the bottom thereof to be discharged by the adoption of a drain pipe structure and which is manufactured paying consideration to the user thereof.
This rainwater storage tank 3 includes a lid 5 in which an inflow hole 4 allowing rainwater 2 to flow therein is formed, a tank body 8 to which the lid 5 is fixed and which has a side part 7 in which an outflow hole 6 allowing the stored rainwater 2 to flow out is formed, and a drain hole 10 opened at the bottom 9 of the tank body 8 for draining the deposited components in the stored rainwater 2. A discharge pipe 11 for distributing the rainwater 2 stored in the tank body 8 is fitted to the outflow hole 6. A drain cock 12 for controlling the discharge of the deposited components in the rainwater 2 contained in the tank body 8 is fitted to the drain hole 10. The rainwater storage tank further includes a drain pipe 13 for draining the deposited components in the rainwater 2 stored in the rainwater storage tank 3 to a downpipe 1. The drain pipe 13 is connected to the drain cock 12 at one end and connected to the downpipe 1 at the other end.
