PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed article made from biomass resource-derived polyester, having practical physical properties and greatly contributing to solution of an environmental problem, depletion problem of fossil fuel resource or the like.SOLUTION: The foamed article is made from biomass resource-derived polyester having the main repeating units of a dicrboxylic acid unit and diol unit, and is characterized in that at least one of dicarboxylic acid and diol which are the raw materials of polyester is obtained from biomass resource and the terminal carboxyl group amount in polyester is ≤50 equivalents/ton.
