Connection communication apparatus 1 has a control part 2, a first communication part 11 and a second communication part 12, wherein the master device 100 is connected to the first communication part 11, and communication apparatus 51 is connected to the second communication part 12. The master device 100 performs communication with the connection communication apparatus 1 on the basis of a first communication protocol and communicates with the communication apparatus 51 on the basis of a second communication protocol. Transfer condition information that designates header information of data based on each communication protocol and a transfer condition of the header information by associating them with the first communication part 11 and the second communication part 12, respectively, is set in the control part 2. When the first communication part 11 receives data from the master device 100, the control part 2 determines the received data and performs transfer processing for transmitting the data from the second communication part 12 to the communication apparatus 51 and data processing by the connection communication apparatus 1 itself in accordance with whether to match the transfer condition or not.
