Abstract:

To provide a power plant improving the electric output.

The boiling water type nuclear power plant 1 supplies the steam generated in a nuclear reactor 2 to a high-pressure turbine 3 and a low-pressure turbine. The steam discharged from the high-pressure turbine 3 is superheated by a moisture separation superheater 33 and is supplied to the low-pressure turbine 5B. The moisture separation superheater 33 includes a moisture separator 4 and a superheater 34A. The steam bled from the low-pressure turbine 5B is supplied to a steam compressor 28 through a steam supply pipe 31 and is compressed. The steam compressed and raised in temperature is supplied to the superheater 34A through a steam supply pipe 32. The steam discharged from the high-pressure turbine 3 is got rid of moisture in the moisture separator 4 and is superheated in the superheater 34A by the compressed steam supplied from the steam compressor 28. A steam flow rate supplied to the high-pressure turbine 3 and the low-pressure turbine is increased and the electric output of the boiling water type nuclear power plant 1 is improved.
