An electronic document processing device comprises a template verification means for verifying the description format of a stylized part of a template that describes a stylized part in which the descriptive content concerning the structured document is determined beforehand, and an unstylized part in which a portion in which values change is described using the description of data typing of the structured document schema, and a data type verification means for verifying the insertion data to be inserted into the unstylized part of the template which has been verified by the template verification means using the description of data typing.
