To provide a plant operation system for a plant having a plurality of input items and a plurality of output items, which promptly determines an operation amount in consideration of each value of output items having a tradeoff relation.
The plant operation system includes an output allowable range set unit 82 for setting an output allowable range for each output item of a plurality of plants, an allowable operation amount acquisition unit 52 for obtaining an allowable operation amount which is a combination of the operation amounts of the plant operation items, producing the entire output values to be within the output allowable range set by a chart 86 for setting the output allowable range, an allowable operation amount display unit 54 for displaying the allowable operation amount value or the existence range of the allowable operation amount value on a screen, and an output item graph display unit 56 for displaying on a screen the output item values corresponding to the allowable operation amount in a graph format.
