To provide a new tackifying resin emulsion which enables an emulsion type pressure-sensitive adhesive to improve pressure-sensitive adhesive properties at a high temperature, and to improve curved surface adhesiveness to a non-polar material.
The tackifying resin emulsion for use in a high-temperature environment use emulsion type pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, is obtained by emulsifying (B) a tackifying resin composed of rosin phenols having 140-180°C softening point and/or polymerized rosin esters having 140-180°C softening point, in the presence of an emulsifier containing, as a polymer emulsifier, (A) a (meth)acrylamide-based copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (a-1) 50-90 mol% (meth)acrylamide, (a-2) 1-40 mol% ionic monomer and (a-3) 1-25 mol% hydrophobic monomer.
