Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control power to charge each electric vehicle at each charging station by guiding a right number of electric vehicles at the right time to the charging stations to balance between supply and demand in a power system.SOLUTION: In order to allow a right number of electric vehicles to consume power by sharing total charging power allocated to a group of charging stations in each power distribution area planned by a power system monitoring control system, a charge monitoring control center invites travelling electric vehicles to apply for charging at charging stations, selects a right number of electric vehicles among the electric vehicles which have applied for, and determines an amount of charge for each electric vehicle by distributing the total charging power to the selected right number of electric vehicles. The charge monitoring control center also individually controls charging power of electric vehicles at respective charging stations by individually guiding electric vehicles to respective charging stations.
