Abstract:
In a wireless communication system including a transmitter device and a receiver device used for signal transmission and reception according to a multicarrier multiplexing transmission method, the transmitter device performs error correction coding on transmitting data so as to generate error-correction coded bits, carries out a first modulation by modulating said error-correction coded bits so as to generate a plurality of modulation symbols, performs block encoding of the plurality of modulation symbols, a part of which becomes zero in amplitude, carries out a second modulation, allocating block-coded modulation symbols to sub-carriers so as to generate modulation signals, thus transmitting signals based on said modulation signals. Said receiver device receives signals transmitted thereto, performs a second demodulation that retrieves modulation symbols, which are subjected to block coding in units of sub-carriers, from received signals, carries out block decoding on block-coded modulation symbols, performs a first demodulation on block-decoded modulation symbols, and carries out error correction decoding unit by use of demodulated values, thus reproducing original data subjected to transmission. Furthermore, the receiver performs a decision that identifies a frequency band of the sub-carriers having zero amplitude in transmitting signals generated by the transmitter based on transmitted data, and detects an interference signal representative of a signal having the frequency band of a sub-carrier having zero amplitude, identified by the decision, among received signals transmitted thereto.
