Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for preventing the deterioration of a fuel cell.SOLUTION: The supply of reaction gas to a FC 32 is stopped and then the supply of the reaction gas to the FC 32 is started in the state that power output from the FC 32 to a load 30 is adjusted to be zero. At this time, the waveform of a power current Ifc flowing out of the FC 32 rises over a FC target current in the state that the power output is adjusted to be zero and so the power current Ifc is zero and then falls down toward the FC target current to generate power in quick response to power required by the load 30, and the waveform of power voltage Vfc of the FC 32 rises up before entering a deterioration promotion region over deterioration promotion potential Vdet of the FC 32 and more gently rises in the deterioration promotion region than it rises up before entering the deterioration promotion region to suppress the deterioration promotion of the FC 32.
