Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of restraining consumption of activation energy and standby energy, and avoiding detection failure of leak by a meter, while enhancing the benefit of energy saving by introduction of a fuel cell through protraction of power generation time.SOLUTION: In the fuel cell system, a continuous use period of raw fuel is measured by a continuous period measuring part 23 of a gas meter 2. When the continuous use period reaches a period before a leak detection period for detecting leak of raw fuel, warning information is notified to the fuel cell unit to have operation of a fuel cell stack stopped at the fuel cell unit. Further, in measuring a non-use time period of the raw fuel after sending the warning information at a non-use time measurement part 26 of the gas meter 2, if the non-use time period reaches a given time period, resetting information is notified to the fuel cell unit showing that the continuous use period is reset to have operation of the fuel cell stack restarted at the fuel cell unit.
