Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a radiation crosslinking fluorine-based solid polymer electrolyte having excellent mechanical durability and radiation durability by crosslinking a fluorine-based polymer electrolyte by radiation.SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes: a metal ion substitution step of substituting a proton of an electroconductive group contained in a fluorine-based solid polymer electrolyte with a monovalent alkali metal ion, to obtain a monovalent alkali metal ion substitution product of the fluorine-based solid polymer electrolyte; a moisture elimination step of eliminating moisture contained in the monovalent alkali metal ion substitution product of the fluorine-based solid polymer electrolyte therefrom; a radiation irradiation step of irradiating the monovalent alkali metal ion substitution product of the fluorine-based solid polymer electrolyte from which the moisture has been eliminated, with ionizing radiation in vacuum or in an inert gas atmosphere, to obtain a monovalent alkali metal ion substitution product of the radiation crosslinking fluorine-based polymer electrolyte; and an acid treatment step of treating the monovalent alkali metal ion substitution product of the radiation crosslinking fluorine-based polymer electrolyte with an acid, and substituting the monovalent alkali metal ion of the electroconductive group with the proton.
