Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image formation device to be activated even when a storage area necessary for an operation of the image formation device cannot be secured in a memory due to a memory error.SOLUTION: When a memory 2 is capable of securing prescribed size of a storage area necessary for an operation of an image formation device based on a result of a memory check of the memory 2 by a memory check module 4, a CPU 1 executes a job in accordance with a program while storing prescribed first data and prescribed second data in an area of the memory 2 where a memory error is not detected. When the memory 2 is not capable of securing the prescribed size of the storage area necessary for the operation of the image formation device due to the memory error, the CPU 1 executes the job while storing: the first data in the area of the memory 2 where the memory error is not detected; and the second data in an auxiliary storage device 3.
