Abstract:
A portable electronic device (1) is provided with: a housing (10); a projector (12) as a heat source which is provided inside the housing (10); a vibrating object (13) as a vibration generation unit which is provided inside the housing (10) and generates vibration which is transmitted to the housing (10); a fan (15) which is provided inside the housing (10) and promotes the dissipation of heat from the projector (12); a single motor (14) which rotates the fan (15) and can use the fan (15) to vibrate the vibrating object (13); and a control unit which controls the motor (14) and includes a first control which causes the fan (15) to rotate so as to promote the dissipation of heat of the projector (12) and a second control which causes the vibrating object (13) to vibrate so that the magnitude of the vibration generated by the vibrating object (13) becomes greater than when the first control is used.
