To provide a transaction management device that requires no member's card, thereby eliminating a need for a customer to always have the card or eliminating the cost burden for issuing the card.
A transaction management device 1 transfers an authentication request for transaction including card transaction information using a settlement card transmitted from a CAT 2 to a financial institute 3, and transfers an authentication result from the financial institute 3 to the CAT 2. The transaction management device 1 determines later whether to give cash-back for the card transaction made by the member. When cash-back is needed for the card transaction, the transaction management device 1 requests the financial institute 3 to cancel the card transaction, and requests new card transaction by subtracting the amount of cash-back.
