To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which has good adhesion to an optical film, when the optical film is stuck to an adherend, avoids a light leak phenomenon even after long-term exposure at high temperature in the case of a large area, and avoids foam formation, lifting and peeling at the sticking interface even after long-term exposure at high temperature in the case of a small area, excels also in reworking property, and hardly takes charge in peeling.
The antistatic acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises a copolymer (C) having a hydroxyl group and/or a carboxyl group and having a glass transition temperature of -60 to 0°C, a compound (D) having a functional group capable of reacting with a hydroxyl group and/or a carboxyl group, and a boron compound (D) of a specific structure, wherein the copolymer comprises a high molecular weight component (A) and a low molecular weight component (B), and the area ratio of (A) to (B) is 60/40 to 90/10 as measured by GPC.
