Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding resin composition that produces a tool holder having high mechanical strength, heat rigidity and impact strength and a tool holder having high water resistance and moisture resistance and excellent dimensional stability.SOLUTION: The molding resin composition 17 is produced by mixing a liquid phenol resin (thermosetting synthetic resin), a glass fiber (inorganic fiber) and the whole cotton fiber or the whole cotton cloth (natural fiber material) with a resin-impregnated fiber material impregnated with a liquid phenol resin. In the resin-impregnated fiber material, the amount of the phenol resin impregnated based on 100 wt.% of the cotton fiber or cotton cloth is 20-40 wt.%. In the molding resin composition 17, the content of the glass fiber based on 100 wt.% of the phenol resin is 5-15 wt.% and the content of the resin impregnated fiber material based on 100 wt.% of the phenol resin is 100-150 wt.%.
