Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably control damping power of a dumper which is variable in damping power at the time of detecting unbalance in drum rotation or the weight of laundry.SOLUTION: The dumper for damping vibration of a water vessel can vary its damping power. The dumping power of the dumper is kept constant while detecting unbalance (the "unbalance detection" region at the most left side in Fig. 1). When varying the dumping power of the dumper (the "dumping power variation" region in Fig. 1), the dumping power is varied with the drum rotation speed being constant, and right thereafter the unbalance detection is carried out (a medium region of "unbalance detection" in Fig. 1). Both when detecting the weight of laundry by a dry cloth weight detection function and when detecting the weight of laundry by a wet cloth weight detection function, the dumping power of the dumper is kept constant.
