Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control discharge of nitrous oxide gas to the atmosphere.SOLUTION: On the basis of the value of an ammonia nitrogen load in each of an oxygen-free tank 12 and aerobic tanks 13a to 13c inputted by a load detectors 19a to 19d, an inflow nitrogen load controller 21 controls the opening of valves 22a to 22d to supply raw water to the tanks each so that the ammonia nitrogen load in each tank may be lower than the prescribed value. The value of the ammonia nitrogen load in each of the aerobic tanks 13a to 13c is thereby kept lower than the prescribed value and the discharge of the nitrous oxide gas to the atmosphere can be controlled.
