Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconducting thin film wire material having a high superconducting property with stability by forming an oxide superconducting layer having a high crystal orientation with both the reduction in crystal orientation, and the occurrence of variations thereof suppressed in manufacturing the oxide superconducting thin film wire material.SOLUTION: The intermediate layer for oxide superconducting thin film layer formation is formed between an orientated metal base and an oxide superconducting thin film layer in providing the oxide superconducting thin film layer on the orientated metal base, and has a crystal domain size of 25 nm or below in its surface layer. The oxide superconducting thin film layer is formed on the intermediate layer for oxide superconducting thin film layer formation. The oxide superconducting thin film wire material comprises: the orientated metal base; the intermediate layer for oxide superconducting thin film layer formation formed on the orientated metal base; and the oxide superconducting thin film layer formed on the intermediate layer. In the oxide superconducting thin film wire material, the oxide superconducting thin film layer is produced by MOD method.
