Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web page browsing device which allows a link text for linking to a web page desired by a user to be easily found without necessity for jumping to a hyperlink destination to open the web page.SOLUTION: When an arbitrary link text Ltxtn in the hypertext of a currently displayed web page is selectively focused, the hypertext of the linked web page destination is obtained according to the URL of the linked destination corresponding to the link text Ltxtn and tag elements having the same (or similar) character string as the link text Ltxtn are listed up. Based on the tag elements having the same character string as the link text Ltxtn of the hypertext of the linked web page destination, the body text Htxt included in the succeeding tag elements is extracted and the read-out voice thereof is voice-synthesized to be outputted.
