Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a lens barrel inserts and mounts a planar-convex lens (11) into a hollow section (12a) provided in a barrel frame (12), and the insertion and mounting use both a suction pad (51a) which can hold the planar surface (11b) of the planar-convex lens (11) and a suction pad (52a) which can suck the convex surface (11a) of the planar-convex lens (11). The method has: a first-lens-holding-section protrusion step for inserting the suction pad (51a) into a hollow section (12c) from an opening (12d) which is located at one end of the barrel frame (12) and causing the suction pad (51a) to protrude from an opening (12b) located at the other end of the barrel frame (12); a second-lens-holding-section suction step for sucking the convex surface (11a) of the planar-convex lens (11) by the suction pad (52a); a first-lens-holding-section contact step for causing the planar surface (11b) of the planar-convex lens (11) to make contact with the suction pad (51a); a lens-holding-position switching step for releasing the suction which is exerted by the suction pad (52a) on the convex surface (11a) of the planar-convex lens (11) and holding the planar surface (11b) of the planar-convex lens (11) by the suction pad (51a); and a barrel frame contact step for moving either the suction pad (51a) or the barrel frame (12) in the
