Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device control system or the like that can eliminate the need of a change in application in conjunction with a change in processing contents and a change in type and specifications of a device.SOLUTION: A device control system comprises: a style sheet database 81 for storing a plurality of style sheets describing information conversion rules of an XML document; a communication interface 84 for acquiring an XML document 1 containing output data of the application 41 and information specifying an object device serving as an output object and the style sheet for output; an XML document conversion section 85 for converting the XML document 1 acquired from the communication interface 84 into an XML document 2 containing device control information of the object device on the basis of the style sheet for output; and an XML document input/output section for each device 86 for outputting the XML document 2 acquired from the XML document conversion section 85 to device control services 73 and 75 corresponding to the object device.
