Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological water treating apparatus which can attain both maintenance of quality of water to be treated and suppression of production amount of nitrous oxide (NO).SOLUTION: A first biological water treating apparatus 11 is provided with a biological reaction tank 13 in which activated sludge is stored, an aeration part 15, a blower 17 for air blowing. an oxidation-reduction potentiometer 19, a NO amount correlation value acquiring part 21, an aeration amount correction amount memory part 23 and a first aeration amount controlling part 25. The NO amount correlation value acquiring part 21 acquires a correlation value of nitrous oxide (NO) amount in the biological reaction tank 13. The aeration amount correction amount memory part 23 memorizes a first relation table concerning proper aeration amount correction amount to NO production amount. The first aeration amount controlling part 25 controls aeration amount of aeration parts 15, 17 with aeration amount corrected by using a proper correction amount concerning aeration amount of aeration parts 15, 17 corresponding to the correlation value of nitrous oxide (NO) amount as a controlling target.
