An optical film having at least two phase difference layers and having optical properties represented by the formulae (30) and (31) is provided: −2.0≰a*≰0.5 (30) −0.5≰b*≰5.0 (31) wherein, a* and b* represent the chromatic coordinate in the L*a*b* color system.
