Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aggregation efficiency, prevent resource conflict and reduce a number of running physical servers when arranging virtual machines on the physical servers.SOLUTION: A virtual machine execution system 50 achieves the following: (1) improvement in aggregation efficiency by extracting a physical server 20 whose service interruption time is within allowable service interruption time as the physical server 20 of a movement destination; (2) improvement in resource use efficiency by extracting a candidate of a virtual machine to be moved in order from a virtual machine 30 with a larger use resource amount so that the use resource amount of the physical server 20 becomes less than an upper limit threshold when it is expected that the use resource amount of the physical server 20 exceeds the upper limit threshold; and (3) improvement in electric power use efficiency by moving virtual machines 30 arranged on the physical server 20 to other physical server 20 when the use resource amount of the physical server 20 is less than a lower limit threshold for a prescribed time period.
