Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-control DC power supply not requiring an AC power supply nor the periodic switching of a switching means, and the ground fault of which can be detected, at a low cost.SOLUTION: The DC power supply includes low voltage side and high voltage side battery modules 12A, 12B in which a plurality of battery cells are connected in series, a low voltage side ground line 14A for connecting the negative electrode of the low voltage side battery module 12A and a ground electrode G via a low voltage side resistor 15A, a high voltage side ground line 14B for connecting the positive electrode of the high voltage side battery module 12B and the ground electrode G via a high voltage side resistor 15B, an intermediate interrupter 16 capable of connecting the battery modules 12A, 12B in series and interrupting, and a ground fault detector 18 for detecting the ground fault from voltage drops VL, VH occurring in the ground lines 14A, 14B. The voltage drops VL, VH occurring in the ground lines 14A, 14B are detected simultaneously by connecting the intermediate interrupter 16, and the ground fault is detected from the voltage drops VL, VH.
