Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data processing for predicting what result new serial data reaches with high probability, using useful information discovered from a serial data group.SOLUTION: A serial data analyzer stores a first serial data group that is constituted by a plurality of different item sets; extracts a pattern of two or more item sets based on a frequency of appearance of the item sets; selects a pattern of two or more item sets based on a frequency of appearance of a partial pattern that are a part of the pattern from the extracted pattern; generates a relevant pattern identical in a last item set to the selected pattern but different in other item sets from the selected pattern; calculates an evaluation value for the relevant pattern on the basis of the frequency of appearance of the partial pattern that is a part of the pattern; generates a prediction model obtained by gathering data on characteristic patterns and relevant pattern; and determines a result reached by second serial data that is a subset of the first serial data with high probability while applying the second serial data to the prediction model.
