Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate power consumption in a power storage device caused by forcible closing of a current limiting circuit breaker to avoid an inrush current when a system power supply is cut off.SOLUTION: A charging/discharging and power feeding path formation unit 10, which is used to make up power feeding to a control power supply 8 connected to a system power supply 1 and to avoid an inrush current into a bidirectional power conversion unit 5 in early stages of switching from charging to discharging, comprises a main circuit breaker, a current limiting circuit breaker, a current limiting resistor, and a first and a second unidirectional element (diode). A first unidirectional element 24 is inserted between the connection point of a current limiting circuit breaker 22 and a current limiting resistor 23 and the control power supply 8. A second unidirectional element 25 is inserted between the connection point of the current limiting resistor 23 and a main circuit breaker 21 and the control power supply 8. A control unit 9 closes the main circuit breaker 21 and opens the current limiting circuit breaker 22 during a normal operation state, and when a voltage drop is detected, temporarily closes the current limiting circuit breaker 22 and then opens the main circuit breaker 21 and closes it immediately thereafter, and further reopens the current limiting circuit breaker 22 immediately thereafter.
