Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing liquefied carbon dioxide and a cleaning method thereof, whereby high cleanness in the apparatus can be achieved within a short period of time.SOLUTION: An apparatus 100 for producing liquefied carbon dioxide includes a purification part 10, a carbon dioxide introduction part 11, a storage part 12, a supply part 13 and a heating mechanism. The purification part 10 is a part that removes impurities and contaminants from carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide introduction part 11 is a part that introduces the carbon dioxide into the purification part 10 as a raw material or recovered gas. The storage part 12 is a part that stores the carbon dioxide, which has gone through the purification part 10, in a liquid state. The supply part 13 is a part that contains a pump 25 that feeds the liquid carbon dioxide from the storage part 12 to a use point 200. The heating mechanism is a mechanism that performs heat cleaning of a part of or the entire line extending from the storage part 12 to the pump 25.
