Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient image reading method in performing scan image processing on the side of a terminal.SOLUTION: Arithmetic performance information of a computer is acquired in system information setting processing. The resolution of image data and a priority order of image processing are set based on an instruction of a user in image processing setting processing. An arithmetic time per image processing page is calculated based on the arithmetic performance information in image processing time calculation processing. When the arithmetic time is not within a predetermined time, resolution is reduced or image processing to be performed is reset in accordance with the priority order in image processing resetting processing. Then, image data read by an image formation device is acquired by a computer so as to perform image processing in scan image acquisition and generation processing. Finally, the settings of resolution and a priority order of image processing are corrected in accordance with a time that has been actually taken for image processing in image processing setting correction processing.
