Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless router capable of quickly notifying user information without greatly promoting congestion in a communication network, when a prescribed event such as disaster occurs.SOLUTION: A wireless router which wirelessly communicates with mobile terminals and communicates with mail servers through an access network comprises: notification necessity confirmation means which inquires, of the mobile terminals, the necessity of notification to contact addresses and confirms the notification necessity for each mobile terminal when a prescribed event such as disaster occurs; contact address acquisition means which acquires mail addresses to be contacted for each mobile terminal; contact address storage means which stores the notification necessity in association with the mail addresses for each address of the mobile terminals; and notification control means which transmits, to the mail server, a mail addressed to the mail addresses associated with the address of a mobile terminal requesting notification to its contact addresses.
