Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make deterioration in image quality due to deviation in output signals in pixels for imaging arranged surrounding pixels for focus detection in a boundary between an arranged region and a non-arranged region of the pixels for focus detection when the arranged region of the pixels for focus detection is limited to a partial region of an imaging region.SOLUTION: Pixel regions constituting an imaging screen for the imaging element includes: a first region with a plurality pixels for focus detection capable of respectively outputting image signals obtained by respectively and independently receiving a flux which has passed through different regions in an exit pupil of an optical system mixed according to a predetermined first mixture ratio; a second region with the pixels for focus detection not mixed in; and a third region which is in between the first region and the second region and having the plurality of pixels for focus detection mixed in so that the mixture ratio is lowered in stages from the first mixture ratio from the first region toward the second region.
