Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle drive device capable of suppressing a decrease in drive force transmitted to a driving wheel when backing the vehicle by an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In a drive device 10A of a hybrid vehicle 1 provided with: a power dividing mechanism 15 including a first planetary gear mechanism 17 in which an internal combustion engine 11, a first MG 12, and an output part 16 are connected to a carrier C1, a sun gear S, and a ring gear R1, respectively; and a second MG 13 capable of outputting power to the output part 16, the output part 16 includes an output shaft 20 connected to each of a driving wheel 3 and the second MG 13 in a power transmittable manner and a transmission mechanism 19 changing the speed of the rotation of the ring gear R1 to transmit it to the output shaft 20. The transmission mechanism 19 can switch a transmission gear ratio between the ring gear R1 and the output shaft 20 between a low-speed side transmission gear ratio and a high-speed side transmission gear ratio smaller than the low-speed side transmission gear ratio. When backing the vehicle 1 by the power of the internal combustion engine 11, the transmission gear ratio of the transmission mechanism 19 is switched to the high-speed side transmission gear ratio.
