Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular portable unit registration system in which wrong operation is suppressed, the vehicular portable unit registration system being used mainly for a vehicular lock/unlock system or an immobilizer system.SOLUTION: A portable unit 200 comprises registration count information 250 which is rewritten when the portable unit 200 is registered to an on-vehicle unit 100. In the case where the on-vehicle unit 100 is not in an initial state and the registration count information 250 before rewriting is an initial value, the on-vehicle unit 100 registers the portable unit 200. Thus, since re-registration of the registered portable unit 200 can be restricted, a vehicular portable unit registration system 300 can be provided in which wrong operation caused by registering the same portable unit 200 to the on-vehicle units 100 of a plurality of vehicles on a general user side is suppressed.
