Abstract:
Provided is a method for feeding metal pipe, the method comprising the steps of: placing a level wound coil (10) of copper pipe (11) so that the center line (CL) thereof is oriented in the vertical direction; disposing a flanged protection pipe (20) above a coil upper face (10U); placing a tubular guide (16) above the pipe (20); unwinding the copper pipe (11) from the outermost layer (La) of the coil (10); and supplying the copper pipe (11) through the guide (16). The pipe (20) guides the copper pipe (11) fed toward the guide (16). The lower end (16a) of the guide (16) is connected with a plastic tube (18). The copper pipe (11) is passed through the tube (18), thereby preventing the copper pipe (11) from being damaged by the pipe (20) due to direct contact therebetween.
