Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desiccant ventilation fan and a method for controlling the same, suppressing dew condensation of an air supply path when a ventilation mode is changed.SOLUTION: A desiccant ventilation fan 10 ventilating a room includes: a sensible heat exchange rotor 13 moving heat to an exhaust path 12 discharging air in the room through an air supply path 11 sending outside air into a room; a desiccant rotor 14 moving moisture from the air supply path 11 to the exhaust path 12; and a control means 15 controlling operation of the sensible heat exchange rotor 13 and the desiccant rotor 14. The control means 15 has timer function. When a dehumidifying and ventilating mode, in which the sensible heat exchange rotor 13 and the desiccant rotor 14 are operated to perform ventilation and dehumidification of the room and increase in temperature is suppressed, is changed to a ventilation-only mode, in which the sensible heat exchange rotor 13 and the desiccant rotor 14 are stopped to only perform the ventilation of the room, the control means 15 stops the sensible heat exchange rotor 13, and stops the desiccant rotor 14 after the lapse of a predetermined time.
