Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an imaging device which has plural photoelectric conversion units in each pixel and reads signals from each pixel via plural reading systems to properly perform additive reading on pixel-by-pixel basis and independent reading from each photoelectric conversion unit.SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: a pixel region (20) containing rows and columns of unit pixels each comprising plural photoelectric conversion units (201) and plural conversion means (202); first reading means which includes plural signal lines (VL and VR) connected in common to one of the plural conversion means included in each of the unit pixels arrayed in each column, and independently transfers voltage signals outputted from the plural conversion means in a first direction via the plural signal lines; and plural second reading means which transfer the voltage signals in a second direction. The plural signal lines are connected to one of the plural second reading means on column-by-column basis.
