Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin detector and a coin dispensing device using a magnetic sensor capable of detecting a wide area.SOLUTION: The coin detector determines coins existing on a receiving saucer for receiving the coins by using a magnetic sensor. The magnetic sensor includes a coil and a core wound with the coil. The magnetic sensor is disposed at a position that a magnetic flux passes a coin reservoir part of the receiving saucer. The magnetic sensor is provided with a metal member therearound for expanding detection range of the magnetic sensor.
