Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for solar battery modules which has heat resistance, and enables the suppression of air hole generation in a lamination step when forming a module and after an endurance test.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sealant for solar battery modules comprises the steps of: producing a base sheet by molding, through a melting process, a resin composition including a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.900 g/cmor less, and a first crosslinker having a one-minute-half-life temperature of 160-200°C, and included in the composition by 0.02-0.5 mass% (exclusive of 0.5 mass%) at a temperature equal to or higher than the one-minute-half-life temperature of the first crosslinker; and thereafter coating at least one surface of the base sheet with a second crosslinker having a one-minute-half-life temperature of 130-170°C (exclusive of 170°C), provided that the amount of coating of the second crosslinker is 0.5-7.5 g/m.
