Abstract:
To provide a non-lead piezoelectric element which is formed by use of non-lead piezoelectric material and is activated stably in a wide practical temperature region.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element comprises: a first electrode; piezoelectric material; and a second electrode. The piezoelectric material contains, as a primary component, a perovskite metal oxide expressed by the following general formula (1): (BaCa)(TiZr)O(1.00≤a≤1.01, 0.02≤x≤0.30, 0.020≤y≤0.095, and y≤x). The metal oxide contains Mn; the content of Mn is 0.02 pts.wt or more to 0.40 pts.wt. or less relative to 100 pts.wt. of the metal oxide in terms of metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
